  • Engine is a 292 V-8 and has about 10,000 miles on a Machine shop rebuild, have all receipts from previous owner.
  • Trans is a 4 speed with 1st being creeper, has Hotchkiss front and rear Diffs 410 gears, warn lock outs, Clutch was new when engine was rebuilt. Running gear is 100 percent every thing works.
  • Blower fan has one speed they only has two speeds back then, hot and hotter.
  • Body complete cab rebuild (used 16 gauge steel for the floors) all hand crafted body pieces floor boards, etc.. Rocker panels, cab corners, step risers are all Dennis Carpenter parts new in August 2005.
  • Interior, has all Rod Doors door panels, headliner with radio insert, gas tank cover, sail panels, sill panels. Updated fuse box. Also interior again has custom fit carpet from Rod Doors with celex wrap "heatwrap" same with above cab headliner. Only thing the interior needs is the seat redone. It is an original but I just ran a seat cover, never got around to doing the cloth.
  • Paint, first has a little over 1/2 a gallon of Rage Gold filler for skim coat, the rest is lead, NO BONDO. Paint is 1 gal sprayed of DuPont Hot Hues Brilliant Red ($575 a gallon!), topped with 6 coats of clear.
  • Bed is from TX and was rust free, the doors from AZ. Box is spray in Herculiner bedliner about 1/4" thick.
  • Front bumper is custom 1/4" aluminum plate machined on my lathe. I do have the stamped steel original Ford bumper as well. I have tailgate chains and wraps but didn't install them. Instead I pinned the tailgate, didn't want the chains wrecking my paint.
  • Has original repops bias 10ply tires with tubes on the original rims.
  • Extras; I have a Monarch engine driven snow plow pump and controller , the frame still has the plow mount lower hangers for a 6ft straight non angle plow
  • I am the third owner of the truck. It was a municipal truck for Lake Leelanae up near Traverse City, Michigan. Then a fellow by the name of John owned it since. I have purchased all the repair manuals, owners manuals, even the sales brochure for the truck... Truck of course is turn key and I wouldn't be scared to drive it anywhere. It would be nice to have A/C but back in those days you just opened the bat wings, rolled down the windows, and hoped everyone had deodorant.
